Why Early Access? We want to change that with Temtem. We want our early supporters to be involved in the development, watch our day-to-day updates and provide feedback along the way to make the game we all always dreamt about.
Temtem will be in Early Access until we feel the game is complete enough for its release. Based on our current estimations that will be sometime during Q4 or Q1 Most of the basic multiplayer features are already implemented too: the game is fully playable in co-op, other players can be seen running around in the world and interactions like PVP or trading and chatting are also available. The game has also some end-game content to keep players entertained after completing the campaign including Luma hunting specially-colored variation of Temtem , Temtem breeding in order to min-max your Temtem for battles and weekly quests and events.
Over this time and before the Early Access we've been listening and implementing user feedback and we've been involving our community in several ways even letting them picking which new Temtem appear in the game or naming them. This, in and of itself, allows for a more mature conversation within the game.
Another thing that players will appreciate about the game is that it has an extensive character customization option. Not only will you be able to choose your appearance, but you can also have freedom of identity. Even the NPCs are not limited to traditional genders.
All the options make the game more inclusive and allow players to create a character that really expresses who they are. The battles are also more complex in Temtem. You always fight with two Temtems , which means you need to consider how well they work together. Fighting with a dojo leader will also require more thought-out strategies. Dojo leaders will not only have six Temtems , but they will also have a variety of Temtem types. Another thing that makes the game a more mature version is the language used.
